Isogone

Modular font based off an isometric grid and hexagon shape. Inspired by shapes created by ribbon folding over.

From this project I learned that setting up limitations for yourself can be a good thing: sticking to certain rules helps make everything look more cohesive in the end. Once you have established a set of rules however, it’s ok to break them when necessary. The main rule I created for myself was keeping all the triangular shapes of each letter inside a set hexagon shape of an isometric grid.
